The Schwooper family’s history unfolds through a shifting collection of ordinary crises, old grievances and moments of connection. Moving between different stages of their lives, the animated comedy finds humour in the way relatives remember the same experiences differently. Shira’s relationship with Kendra is one of the personal threads woven through the family’s larger story. Rather than following a single romance, the series explores how love, disappointment and the patterns learned at home can echo across years.
