Eve Polastri’s fascination with a skilled assassin pulls her out of a familiar life and into a pursuit that grows increasingly personal. Villanelle, meanwhile, finds the woman investigating her far more interesting than an ordinary opponent. As each tries to understand and outmanoeuvre the other, the distance between professional obsession, desire and self-discovery becomes difficult to measure. This thriller centres their dangerous connection across four seasons, surrounding it with espionage and dark humour while refusing to make either woman’s attraction simple or safe.
