Years after surviving the disaster at Camp Cretaceous, the former campers are trying to build lives in a world where dinosaurs are no longer safely contained. A disturbing threat brings them together again and sends them into a conspiracy that reaches beyond their original island ordeal. Sammy and Yaz now face the demands of an adult relationship as well as the consequences of what they survived as teenagers. Distance, anxiety and competing ideas of safety test their bond while their friends pursue answers. This sequel follows a familiar ensemble into a more dangerous landscape, combining dinosaur adventure with the work of staying connected when shared history does not guarantee shared needs.
