House Husbands

Four fathers find their lives increasingly connected through school, parenting and the daily negotiations of family life. Childcare responsibilities bring friendships and rivalries into the same small community, where a seemingly minor disagreement can expose a much larger problem. The fourth season introduces Eve into that network, complicating existing relationships and assumptions about who belongs with whom. Her connection with principal Heather Looby becomes part of the season’s unfolding personal story, placing a relationship between two women within the show’s established family ensemble. The drama combines domestic humour with questions about trust, commitment and the changing arrangements through which adults try to give their children stability.
