Detective Andie Whitford moves with her family to an isolated town in Victoria’s High Country and becomes involved in a troubling missing-persons investigation. The beautiful landscape conceals conflicts that outsiders do not immediately understand, and the search draws Andie into the town’s tightly held secrets. Her relationship with Helen and their family life give the crime story a continuing personal dimension. The series follows a lesbian detective as its protagonist, with the mystery remaining the main plot.
