Violet has learned to be cautious about what attraction can promise. When lesbian reporter Allie approaches her for an interview, their conversation opens into an unexpected connection that neither woman can neatly categorize. Desire brings questions about identity and belonging into focus, including prejudice within the communities that are supposed to offer understanding. Alongside their story, Violet's friend Paige considers whether a new relationship can make space for the truth about her life. The short web series gives trans women interior lives, romantic agency and the chance to be more than an issue under discussion. Violet and Allie's developing romance forms its central sapphic thread across the six-episode season.
