Four close friends in Harlem try to make room for ambition, desire and the versions of adulthood they once imagined. Their careers and relationships do not always advance at the same pace, leaving friendship as their most reliable constant. Tech entrepreneur Tye’s romantic life is a continuing sapphic strand, while Quinn’s exploration of dating women adds another perspective in later seasons. The comedy follows the whole group, combining queer relationships with the professional and emotional upheavals of a wider ensemble. Sapphic storylines: Tye throughout seasons 1–3, Quinn exploring dating women from season 2, and Tye/Eva in season 3.
