A job at an established cosmetics company gives Marco a chance to turn a love of makeup into a future, but the office has its own rivalries and rules. While the business tries to stay relevant, ambitious assistant Venetia balances her professional plans with a connection she did not expect to become serious. Designer Britt has been interested in her for some time, and a surprising match gives those feelings room to develop. Their relationship grows within an ensemble navigating careers, self-expression and queer nightlife. The comedy makes attraction part of the everyday texture of work, while showing how difficult it can be to keep personal and professional decisions apart.
