Twin gynaecologists Beverly and Elliot Mantle share an extraordinary professional ambition and a personal closeness that leaves little room for anyone else. As they pursue a new approach to reproductive healthcare, their different desires put pressure on the arrangements that have held their lives together. Beverly’s relationship with actress Genevieve offers intimacy beyond the twins’ shared world, making its boundaries harder to ignore. This psychological drama brings a substantial sapphic romance into a disturbing story about control, dependence and medical ambition.
