A summer job at a theme park’s haunted house turns out to involve more than costumes and staged scares. Barney, Norma and talking dog Pugsley find themselves dealing with real supernatural trouble while trying to manage the ordinary challenges of friendship and belonging. As Norma’s confidence grows, her feelings for Badyah become part of a personal discovery that receives particular attention in the second season.
