Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Rebecca Bunch abandons a prestigious legal career to follow the idea of happiness to West Covina, where her pursuit of an old crush becomes increasingly complicated. Musical numbers turn everyday hopes and anxieties into elaborate performances as friendship begins to matter as much as romance. Within that circle, Valencia builds an events business and a relationship with Beth, finding a different future from the one she once expected. Their partnership develops in the later seasons, giving a recurring queer romance space within a much broader story about identity, mental health and learning what fulfilment might actually require. Sapphic storyline seasons: Late S3–S4; Valencia/Beth is a recurring developed relationship, not the lead romance.
