Claire would prefer to solve her problems with a sensible plan, but unpaid rent and an impulsive roommate leave her considering a less respectable source of income. Posing as online psychics seems like a temporary scam until she discovers that her abilities might be real. Suddenly, getting through the month involves both supernatural danger and the awkwardness of trying to talk to Nico, the woman she likes. The short-form comedy lets Claire’s queer love story unfold alongside a friendship that is affectionate, exasperating and central to her life. Its magical complications make ordinary questions about trust and self-confidence considerably harder to avoid, without turning her roommate into a romantic partner.
