Laura Hollis arrives at university ready to investigate the world, then finds that the strangest story may be unfolding inside her own residence hall. A missing roommate, suspicious events and a new arrival named Carmilla turn her video updates into the record of an increasingly dangerous mystery. Laura and Carmilla approach almost everything from different directions, but curiosity and irritation gradually make room for trust and attraction. Their romance becomes the emotional center of a supernatural adventure built around friendship, chosen loyalties and the risks of caring about someone whose past is difficult to escape. The web series establishes their story before its separate feature-film continuation.
