At a Paris talent agency, every professional emergency seems to arrive just as someone’s personal life becomes impossible to manage. Andréa Martel is exceptionally good at finding solutions for clients and much less willing to accept limits on her own time or desires. Her relationship with Colette brings questions of commitment and family into conflict with a career that rewards constant availability. Alongside the other agents, she negotiates ambition, loyalty and the strange intimacy of managing another person’s public image. The original French series gives Andréa’s lesbian life a sustained place in its ensemble, allowing romance and domestic responsibility to matter as much as her talent for professional rescue.
