A group of young women finds friendship and friction in New York’s skateboarding scene, where claiming space on a board can also mean deciding how much of yourself to show. Kirt is outspoken and flirtatious, while Honeybear often watches the world from behind a camera before letting people close. Their queer lives are woven into the group’s everyday adventures rather than confined to a single revelation. Honeybear’s relationship with Ash develops across the series and raises new questions about experience, confidence and boundaries. The story moves through streets, skate parks and shared apartments with an ensemble whose loyalties are tested as its members grow.
