Five close-knit sisters have spent years looking out for one another, but protecting Grace from her controlling husband draws the Garveys into a dangerous web of secrets. Each sister brings her own loyalties, frustrations and private life to the family’s attempts to stay together. Bibi’s marriage to Nora and their life as parents give her story an intimate sapphic strand alongside the larger mystery. As the consequences of the sisters’ decisions unfold, the dark comedy finds tension in the gap between loving someone and knowing how far to go for them.
