A chance encounter with a former girlfriend sends Anne looking back over the relationships that have shaped her life in Amsterdam. Each connection reveals another version of the young woman she was trying to become, from the comfort of a familiar partnership to the uncertainty of wanting something different. Friends, work and the expectations of adulthood complicate the picture as she moves forward. This Dutch series centres a lesbian woman’s love life without reducing it to a single defining romance, finding space for affection, mistakes and the gradual work of understanding yourself.
