Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte face new chapters of friendship and intimacy in New York. Miranda’s changing understanding of her sexuality reshapes familiar expectations about her future. Her relationship with nonbinary comedian Che unfolds in the first two seasons, while a connection with BBC producer Joy develops into a romance in season three. Miranda’s queer journey is a substantial ensemble storyline, with the women’s romance and the earlier nonbinary relationship identified separately. Sapphic storyline seasons: S1–2 Miranda/Che (nonbinary); S3 Miranda/Joy F/F romance, seeded late S2. Keep partner genders explicit.
