Four former jurors return to ordinary life after a high-profile murder trial, only to discover that doubts about their decision will not leave them alone. Their unofficial search for answers pulls them back toward the people and evidence they were supposed to have finished judging. Each brings different instincts and personal baggage to an investigation that becomes increasingly difficult to separate from everyday responsibilities. Margie’s involvement also affects her relationship with her fiancée Trish, as secrecy and impulsive decisions test the trust between them. The mystery asks whether doing the right thing after a verdict can create consequences that are just as dangerous as getting it wrong.
