A new generation of Beverly Hills teenagers works through family expectations, public mistakes and relationships that rarely remain private for long. In the second season, Adrianna’s connection with Gia grows out of friendship and mutual support before becoming openly romantic. The relationship gives Adrianna a different space to explore attraction while she is also trying to rebuild other parts of her life. It is a recurring but limited arc inside the larger teen soap. The sapphic viewing scope is season two, especially its middle episodes, rather than all five seasons or the earlier Beverly Hills franchise.
