Yuri and Camille are trying to make an open relationship work without a ready-made set of rules for what that should look like. In their corner of Bed-Stuy, friendships, desire and shared history keep bringing other people into decisions that might once have seemed private. Honest intentions do not prevent jealousy or misunderstanding, and each woman has to work out what she can ask of the other. The independent web series places Black queer women at the center of its social world, allowing them to be thoughtful, contradictory and funny. Its portrait of nonmonogamy grows through particular relationships rather than offering a universal answer to how love should be organized.
