Daniela has grown up in an evangelical household where desire comes with rules, prohibitions and the fear of being found out. Online, she can speak with a candour that is difficult to sustain in everyday life. A job at a religious television station brings her into contact with Tomás and Antonia, opening competing possibilities for affection and self-discovery. Trying to understand what she wants becomes inseparable from the question of how much of herself she is willing to hide. Marialy Rivas’s coming-of-age film mixes intimate confession with the pressures of family and faith, following a bisexual young woman whose search for honesty does not fit the tidy moral categories she has been taught to accept.
