Aitana returns to her parents’ home for Christmas after three years away, bringing her wife Gabi and their adopted baby. She expects a reunion, but the welcome is unexpectedly cold. A young stranger now occupies her old bedroom, wears her clothes and seems to receive the affection Aitana hoped would be waiting for her. As her family avoids explaining the arrangement, suspicion turns the holiday visit into something increasingly threatening. The couple’s attempt to reconnect with Aitana’s past becomes a confrontation with the terms on which she is accepted. This Spanish thriller turns the familiar anxieties of returning home into a disturbing question about who gets to belong.
