Sara ends an engagement almost as soon as it begins, realizing that agreeing to a future is easier than knowing what she wants from it. A relationship with a woman in college remains a point of curiosity, and she decides to explore that feeling rather than return to familiar expectations. Dating brings new possibilities alongside misunderstandings and doubts about how to describe herself. Her encounters with women and men become part of a more personal search for confidence and intimacy. Following a protagonist whose uncertainty cannot be resolved by choosing a convenient label, the film looks at the messy distance between the life someone has accepted and the relationships she might actually want.
