Lucy has grown up in a family shaped by the murder of her older sister, Summer, years before she was born. Discovering a time machine sends her back to 2003, when Summer is still alive and a masked killer is stalking the town. Meeting the sister she has only known through absence makes the past feel suddenly personal. As Lucy tries to understand the events leading to the murders, Summer faces her own questions about belonging and her feelings for Emmy. The sisters’ growing connection turns a race against a killer into a difficult choice about changing history and the future that depends on it.
