Liv has grown up within the routines and expectations of her family’s horticultural business in the Danish countryside. Meeting Andrea, an independent and unpredictable woman, introduces an attraction that unsettles the future Liv has assumed for herself. Their relationship opens a world of possibility, but becoming more honest about desire also makes familiar family tensions impossible to ignore. Liv must work out which parts of her life she has chosen and which she has inherited without question. Andrea cannot make those choices on her behalf, and romance does not remove the difficulty of growing away from home. As affection and conflict reshape her relationships, Liv begins searching for a way to belong that leaves room for the person she is becoming.
