Sangailė is fascinated by stunt flying, although her fear of heights makes that fascination feel painfully out of reach. During a summer visit she meets Austė, a young woman whose creativity and apparent ease with herself offer a different way of approaching the world. Their friendship develops into love, creating room for Sangailė to reveal the anxieties she usually keeps hidden. Austė’s encouragement does not erase those difficulties, but it helps make an unfamiliar future imaginable. Set among lakeside landscapes and the spectacle of an air show, the film follows a tentative movement toward confidence. The romance becomes part of Sangailė’s attempt to trust both another person and her own capacity for change.
