Catherine retreats to a remote coastal cottage in winter, hoping that distance from a recently broken musical partnership will help her find a new direction. The unfamiliar quiet creates room to work, and meeting local photographer Grace offers a connection beyond the isolation she has chosen. Their attraction develops during visits and explorations of the surrounding landscape, including an abandoned farmhouse with an unsettling history. Afterward, Catherine begins to notice disturbances she cannot comfortably explain. The space intended as a refuge becomes increasingly difficult to trust. Music, solitude, and a fragile new romance accompany a horror story in which the desire to begin again is threatened by a presence that seems to move closer whenever Catherine tries to regain control.
