After the end of a long relationship, Maya meets Hattie, whose confidence and apparently successful life offer a compelling distraction from heartbreak. An invitation to Hattie’s home deepens the attraction, and Maya begins to imagine that the new connection might become something substantial. Details soon stop fitting together.
