Sam has little patience for holidays, while Bailey finds reasons to celebrate them. A chance meeting on a lonely Valentine’s Day gives the two women an unexpected point of connection. As the calendar moves through more occasions, they keep finding ways back into one another’s company, building a friendship shaped by humour, attraction and uncertain timing. Feelings may be easy to recognise, but acting on them is more complicated. Set in small-town Ohio, this romance follows a relationship developing across the year, as two people with very different attitudes toward celebration discover what they might mean to each other.
