An injury ended Jane's competitive gymnastics career, leaving her with a marriage and routine that no longer give her much sense of direction. Returning to physical performance through an aerial act brings her together with Serena, a dancer whose ambition draws Jane towards possibilities she had stopped considering. Their partnership depends on trust, and the intimacy of the work begins to reveal an attraction that extends beyond rehearsal. Ned Farr's drama follows Jane's attempt to reconnect with her body and decide what kind of future she wants. Preparing for a professional opportunity forces both women to confront feelings that cannot remain safely suspended above their everyday lives.
