Bridget and Trip have the easy intimacy of best friends who know how to entertain each other and how to avoid certain difficult conversations. Meeting Molly and her boyfriend Greg at a New York pub expands their circle, creating a friendship between four people who seem to fit comfortably together. Bridget’s attraction to Molly gradually unsettles that arrangement. What begins in conversation and shared interests becomes harder to dismiss, especially as Molly starts to question the future she has accepted with Greg. Jacob Chase’s romantic comedy follows the small choices through which affection becomes betrayal, asking how honestly people can treat one another when acknowledging what they want threatens the relationships that have made them feel secure.
