Semi wakes from a disturbing dream on the day before a school trip and feels an urgent need to reach Ha-eun, who is recovering from a leg injury. What follows unfolds through the shifting weather of a teenage attachment: jealousy, tenderness, insecurity and feelings that are difficult to say clearly. The girls move through conversations and misunderstandings with the intensity of people for whom a single day can seem to hold an entire relationship. Cho Hyun-chul’s debut feature approaches first love through memory and unease, allowing ordinary moments to carry a significance the characters cannot yet understand. At its centre are two young women trying to find a language for what they mean to one another.
