Raf and Julie arrive at a Paris emergency department with their relationship already close to breaking point. Raf’s injury forces them to remain together in an overcrowded hospital while a Yellow Vest demonstration fills the streets outside. Staff struggle with limited resources, injured protesters bring their anger into the ward, and an encounter with a truck driver unsettles the couple’s assumptions about the people around them. Catherine Corsini’s ensemble drama keeps their intimate conflict within a much larger night of pressure and exhaustion. As the hospital attempts to care for everyone who needs it, the women’s arguments become part of a wider picture of a society struggling to listen.
