Noel has made a career out of writing Christmas stories, but grief and a recent breakup have left her unable to find the holiday spirit on the page. With another book expected and no inspiration in sight, she returns to her hometown of Pinewood. There she meets Callie, a single mother who runs the local bookstore, and discovers an attraction that refuses to stay in the background. Friends and family may be eager to encourage the connection, but Noel must decide what she is ready to change. This small-town romance follows a lesbian author learning that a new chapter can begin long before she knows how it will end.
