Anne spends the summer in a rural community where the power plant and the habits of her friends make the future seem already mapped out. She wants something different, although wanting it does not yet tell her how to leave. Meeting Lena gives that restlessness a more immediate focus. Attraction introduces a possibility that the people around Anne do not all welcome, turning a shared holiday into a period of friction and changing loyalties. The coming-of-age drama follows a young woman learning to distinguish belonging from conformity. In a landscape that can feel both expansive and confining, Anne must decide how much of herself she is prepared to hide in order to remain comfortably part of the group.
