Mariña and Ada are drawn into an intense relationship, finding a closeness that seems to offer its own private world. When their mutual friend Tomás enters that intimacy, the balance between them becomes harder to understand. Desire, affection and uncertainty move across the three people as each encounter changes what Mariña believes their connection can be. Rather than tracing a conventional romance, Ángel Filgueira’s first feature gathers moments from a shifting triangle. At its centre is a young woman learning to recognise the difference between reaching for someone else and losing track of herself, as her relationships prompt new questions about care and independence.
