Laura is an accomplished thief whose confidence has kept her moving through increasingly dangerous jobs. Her latest predicament brings her into the path of Maxine, a policewoman determined to catch her. Attraction complicates the pursuit, turning a straightforward contest between criminal and officer into an unstable partnership. When a sadistic killer begins targeting them, the two women have more urgent problems than deciding which side of the law they are on. They must negotiate desire, suspicion and the practical demands of staying alive. This German thriller follows a relationship developing under pressure, where trusting the person who should be an adversary may be the only way forward.
