Nana is nineteen and has placed much of her hope in two relationships: the one with her mother and the one with her girlfriend Marin. Neither offers the dependable reassurance she longs for. Living in Tokyo, she tries to understand why the people she trusts can still leave her feeling profoundly alone. Her need for affection pushes her into difficult confrontations, exposing the gap between wanting love and knowing how to ask for it. The drama follows a young woman at a point when familiar attachments no longer provide a clear direction. Beginning again does not mean forgetting those ties, but finding a way to imagine herself beyond the approval and availability of the people who have defined her world.
