Caitlin’s impulsive approach to life collides with Leah’s tightly held need for control when the two women meet in Sydney. Leah is struggling to acknowledge a frightening medical diagnosis, while Caitlin brings her own experience of heartbreak into their unexpected time together. An ordinary encounter becomes a wandering urban adventure through the streets and social world of Newtown. Their contrasting temperaments make agreement difficult, but they also give each woman a way to question the habits keeping her stuck. The drama centres on companionship without treating every important connection as a conventional romance. Across an unpredictable journey, Caitlin and Leah discover that accepting another person’s company can make confronting private pain feel a little less isolating.
