Jo works as a tour guide in New Orleans, telling visitors stories about the city’s haunted places while struggling with a much more personal unease at home. Her relationship with Kate is affected by her troubled connection to her father and the unresolved absence of her mother. As disturbing experiences begin to press into ordinary life, Jo has difficulty separating the stories she tells professionally from the fears shaping her own family history. Kate tries to reach her through the uncertainty, but intimacy offers no simple explanation for what is happening. This atmospheric drama brings a central lesbian relationship into a story of grief, inheritance and supernatural anxiety, allowing domestic tension to become as unsettling as any ghost tale.
