Sei returns to Macau after years away and finds herself revisiting a relationship that once shaped her daily life. As a young woman working in a massage parlour, she grew close to Ling, a colleague whose companionship offered warmth and belonging in an uncertain world. Looking back from a different stage of life, Sei begins to understand that the feelings within their friendship may not have been the same for both women. Memories of work, shared rooms and family responsibilities take on meanings she did not recognize at the time. Moving between past and present, the film considers how intimacy can remain unfinished long after the people who created it have been separated by circumstance.
