Emilia watches her friends settle into lives that seem to come with clearer instructions than her own. In her thirties, she is still living with her mother, trying to sustain an acting career and struggling to understand where her relationship with Mariana is going. Losing her teaching job makes the gap between independence and reality harder to ignore. As a friend's wedding draws near, the group's conversations expose how much uncertainty can hide beneath an apparently finished adult life. This Colombian comedy-drama stays close to a bisexual protagonist who resists the timetable others have accepted for her. Her relationship with another woman belongs to the same larger struggle over work, friendship and whether growing up has to mean becoming somebody you do not recognise.
