Ace arrives at an all-girls school in Manila feeling awkward and out of place. Joining the volleyball team gives the newcomer a possible route into school life, but it also puts her in conflict with captain Jana, who sees the talented arrival as a rival. Practice and competition bring the two into closer contact, and their initial friction begins to change into attraction. As Ace finds confidence on court, she must also learn to recognize what she wants away from the game. Samantha Lee’s sports romance places first love alongside the friendships and pressures of a school team, following two young women whose shared ambition becomes the starting point for a more personal connection.
