Juliet is preparing for a wedding that appears to fit the life her family expects. Hiring the independent-minded Rome to organise it creates a connection that no seating plan can contain. Their working relationship develops into friendship and then love, leaving Juliet to confront feelings that complicate her engagement and challenge the expectations surrounding her. As their bond becomes harder to keep private, both women face the consequences of choosing each other in a community unwilling to make that choice easy. This Filipino romantic drama follows the lovers through the conflict between social respectability, family loyalty and the possibility of living more honestly.
