The Wong family is busy maintaining appearances while quietly falling apart. When their recently retired father disappears, three daughters have to look beyond the routines that keep their own troubles neatly compartmentalised. Medical student Julie is accustomed to being dutiful and reserved, but meeting actress Mia Scarlett gives her a reason to reconsider the life others have planned for her. Her developing romance sits alongside her sisters’ conflicts and their parents’ uneasy adjustment to change. Warm family comedy and personal uncertainty share the same house, where finding room for a new relationship also means finding the courage to let the family see it.
