Raven has withdrawn to an isolated cabin, seeking distance from a painful event she cannot easily put behind her. Kate arrives in the surrounding wilderness with her children, hoping that time away will help her own family find steadier ground. When the women meet, their different forms of distress create both friction and recognition. A connection develops through shared vulnerability rather than a simple promise that romance can repair everything. The landscape offers space to pause, but it does not remove the responsibilities and memories each woman brings into it. The drama follows two people learning whether they can accept support without surrendering their boundaries, and whether a chance encounter might make returning to life feel possible.
