Art student Yoon-ju is searching for materials for a project when she notices Ji-soo. Their encounter develops into an attraction that surprises Yoon-ju, who has little experience of the intimacy now opening before her. Spending time together brings tenderness and excitement, but the practical circumstances of their lives do not disappear. Family expectations, work and the need for somewhere private shape the rhythms of the relationship. The film approaches first love through small gestures and ordinary interruptions rather than grand declarations. As the women become important to one another, Yoon-ju must learn that recognizing desire is only the beginning of understanding how to share a life with another person.
