After years of small acting jobs, Nina Wu receives an opportunity that could transform her career. The leading role demands a kind of exposure that reaches far beyond performance, and the pressure of the production begins to unsettle her sense of safety. Returning home during a family crisis does not bring the relief she expects. Memories of her relationship with Kiki offer a different version of intimacy, even as troubling images and fears intrude upon the present. This psychological drama follows an actress whose professional breakthrough is inseparable from experiences she cannot easily name or contain. Nina's lesbian identity and attachment to another woman remain part of her inner life, set against an industry that repeatedly tries to define her through its own expectations.
