Efi returns to her hometown after her grandfather’s death, entering a family environment she has kept at a distance for years. Familiar streets and relatives bring old discomforts back into view, while an encounter with Keren, a married neighbor, offers a new source of attraction. Their relationship develops alongside Efi’s increasing attention to the circumstances she once left behind. Keren’s family and the unresolved tensions in Efi’s own household make the return more complicated than a visit for mourning. The film follows a woman drawn simultaneously toward intimacy and confrontation, allowing a love affair to unfold within a larger reckoning with memory, silence and the obligations that a hometown can continue to impose.
